Here's what our label has to say about us:
Lead vocalist/guitarist Erin Roberts fronts this smart punk/pop trio, featuring 2 raging girls and a spiky haired tattooed thrasher on drums that holds it all together. Some “not so friendly” punk rock meets some “oh so friendly” 80’s she-powerpop. Endless melodies, great hooks, tons of attitude and a screamin’ single compliments of Ms. Meredith Brooks. Sound nice? …it is!
Here's what some other peeps had to say:
...”Their music is a delicious melange of guitar rock and cavity-inducing pop, razor sharp East coast hardcore & colorful West coast punk, Sabbath influenced metal & Go-Gos style new wave. The sum total is an infectious mixture of swirling melodies that can be as pleasantly addictive as a box of caffeine laced Cracker Jacks or as brutally direct as a punch in the gut."
(Ben Kirst, The Word)
..."Erin Roberts is a gorgeous and confident front woman. As I watch her play and woo a crowd I can’t help but think she could be the next Gwen Stefani and an idol to little girls. Leisha Gray is aloof yet pixie like and the sense of mystery she invokes will surely drive young boys wild. Last but not least is the other half of that rhythm section the adorable and ink covered Josh Heatley. Josh is absolutely ferocious on the drums, the energy he puts forth is staggering...Watching this band is pure fun and I can’t help but dance like loon and jump around. In a musical landscape filled with lamenting emo The Juliet Dagger puts on a show that makes you forget your worries and damn don’t we all need to escape once in a while?"

..."this trio does have an aggressive energy and the hooks grab you from beginning to end. The Juliet Dagger's sound kind or reminds me of a group like Letters to Cleo and Weezer with a strong vocalist in guitarist Erin Roberts, and a muscular rhythm section of drummer Josh Heatley and bassist Leisha Gray."

..."The band’s debut CD “Turn up the Death”(Good Chamel Records) was produced by Robby Takac of the Goo Goo Dolls and is a street smart, high energy, profound lyric, power-pop-punk release. It is receiving praise from many industry insiders. The Juliet Dagger is also receiving a ton of publicity in there hometown of Buffalo NY. In addition, the band has many high profile gigs line-up this summer. These are exciting times for Roberts and her band mates."

..."In an industry chock full of bands that are hell-bent on being “different” and/or “unique”, The Juliet Dagger is a breath of fresh air. Don’t get me wrong…different is good, but not at the expense of good songwriting. The appeal of this record lies predominantly in its catchiness and the fact that everyone can relate to the subject matter. “Turn Up the Death” is a more lighthearted affair than the title might indicate, but it’s far from a sugary pop record. There’s enough power chord crunch to satisfy the most cynical hard rock enthusiast (see “Stab”, easily one of my favorites on the album), and Erin’s well-placed octave riffing adds a melancholy-but-not-wimpy feel. As with any good power-pop outfit, the rhythm section of Leisha Gray (bass) and Josh Heatley (drums) is rock solid and very properly drives every tune."
